Ministry Description:The Media Ministry utilizes print, audio, and visual media to help spread the message of empowerment taught by Jesus the Christ and presented by the various UTC ministries. Volunteers work together to present the New Thought message in a relevant and accessible way, and to keep members of the church and the larger community informed about UTC's history, current projects, and future plans.
Ministry Teams:
Publicity/Public Relations (Marketing) Promotes the church in an effective, interesting, and exciting manner that generates interest in planned activities and advances the positive image of UTC.
New Product Development Explores ways to expand the product line to expose UTC to the community in cost effective ways in order to create awareness of our products, services, and events.
Illuminations Bookstore Committed to the overall operation and excellence of the bookstore and the creation of new opportunities for the spiritual development of customers through inspirational and educational books, tapes, CDs, and videos, and other products.
"Moments of Truth" Newsletter Offers a collection of informative and inspirational articles, testimonies, and literary works by UTC staff and members.
Writers' Guild Provides an opportunity for beginning and experienced writers to express their creativity, develop their craft, and contribute to UTC publications.
"Pass the Word" Media Club Provides audio and video recordings of Sunday services for ongoing study and sharing.
Audio/Visual Technical Ensures a high standard of quality by operating and maintaining necessary hardware and equipment, and training technical personnel.
Graphic Arts Produces professional quality, eye-appealing graphics for UTC product packaging and promotional materials.
History Committee Collects, records, and disseminates information concerning UTC's past and current notable happenings and major events.
"Worship Without Walls" (TV/Radio/Web) This department is in the planning stages of a project to transmit live and prerecorded audio and video of UTC services over radio, television, and the internet.
